As a business professional, I believe it’s important to always improve upon your knowledge and your skills. That’s why I applied for, and was accepted into the national public relations accreditation process through the Universal Accreditation Board and the Public Relations Society of America.

Through this process I am able to conduct a deep dive into the professional tenets of public relations which includes:

  • An understanding of the high quality of ethics in the field
  • The deep commitment to performance through research, planning, implementation and measurement
  • Follow-through and development of meaningful campaigns
  • An understanding of audiences/publics, research methods, communications strategic planning
  • and more.

This rigorous process can take professionals a year or more to complete. I am striving to complete the process in under a years’ time. I am proud to be a participant in this program with public relations/communications/marketing professionals around the country who hold themselves to high professional standards.
